Squid Support help centre
Squid Support brings your email and live chat into one inbox and gives every conversation the order context needed to answer it — so an AI agent can resolve the routine questions and hand the rest to your team.
These guides cover setup and day-to-day use. If you are installing for the first time, start with Getting started, then Connecting Shopify.
How the pieces fit together
- Brands — each storefront you support is a brand, with its own inbox, support address, chat widget, policies, and AI configuration. One account can run several.
- Channels — email and live chat both land in the same inbox, so a customer who emails and then opens the chat is one conversation history, not two.
- The AI agent — reads each incoming message, looks up the relevant order in your store, and writes a reply grounded in what it actually found. You choose whether it drafts for approval or sends on its own.
- Actions — returns, refunds, cancellations, address changes and discount codes can be carried out from the conversation, with approval limits you set.
